Experience: Nik knew from a young age that music was his calling. He began toying around with his father’s guitars as a small child, chugging out punk rock power chords and 80’s Metallica riffs and dreaming of being as cool as his musical idols. As young as age 10, he was writing full-length songs. Eventually, he realized the importance of formal music education and theory, and enrolled in private guitar lessons. He took an abundance of music classes throughout his years in grade school and college, further enriching his musical intellect. He has played with several popular NC-based metal bands, including Mourning After and Burning the Open Wound, establishing a name for himself within the Raleigh music community. Nik enjoys listening to a wide variety of musical genres, including metal, rock, jazz, and hip-hop. He is determined to make a name for himself on a national level, and help enrich the lives of people all around the world through his art.
